A medical transportation survey is mailed to random Rock County residents to determine medical transportation needs. Rock County Mobility Manager and Transportation Coordinating Committee member Jennifer McIlhone says the survey’s purpose is to determine those needs so they can help people attend their medical appointments. McIlhone says there are rural county areas without access to public transportation. She says it’s something that always has been and always is important, and it’s something the UW-River Falls Research Center and the Transportation Coordinating Committee are looking at more closely right now. She says it has always been an issue in Rock County. According to a news release, the survey was mailed out March 5th.
