Alcohol may be available for a pair of tournaments this summer at the Janesville Youth Sports Complex. The City’s Alcohol License Advisory Committee Tuesday voted five-to-two to forward a positive recommendation for a Temporary Class “B” Retailer’s License to the city council. The Janesville Youth Baseball and Softball Association wants to sell alcohol during tournaments in May and June involving dozens of visiting teams. General Manager Mo Sikich says the Association needs more revenue to remain competitive.
