A little over a month after the City of Janesville’s top economic development official leaves to take a job in the private sector, the second in command announces her resignation.
Economic Development Coordinator Nancy McDonald says in an email that her last day with the City of Janesville will be March 21st.
McDonald says she’ll be working to make the transition for her replacement as smooth as possible and that she prefers not to discuss her next career opportunity.
McDonald says she looks forward to volunteering with Downtown Janesville Inc.
Former Economic Development Director Gale Price left the City February 10th to take a job at Blackhawk Bank.
