Local youth will participate in the FIRST LEGO League at Razorback Open Invitational at the University of Arkansas. Clinton student and Team 2X4 member Garrett Schneider says they’ve come up with a solution to livestock falling out of trailers due to door failure, which is The Door Detector. Schneider says it’s a patent pending two-part system which prevents animals from falling out and alerts the driver if door failure occurs. He says they are one of the teams from around the world who get to go. He says it runs from May 19th through the 22nd. According to a news release, Team 2X4 also includes Anna Turner, Kelby and Evan Schneider.
