The City of Janesville’s Planning Division looks to collect stories about the places that define the city as part of the comprehensive plan update process.
Planning Director Duane Cherek says the “Places of Janesville Project” is a new social media platform accessible via the City’s comprehensive plan website starting next week.
Associate Planner David Salmon says the new tool will allow residents and stakeholders to comment on plan documents and maps, provide new incites, and respond to survey questions in the same location.
Salmon says citizens can visit the Places of Janesville Project website multiple times over the coming months to share their stories and interact with the stories shared by others.
