The Mercyhealth Development Foundation hosts Golf for a Good Cause at its annual Golf Play Day. Community Development and Mercyhealth Foundation Director Jennifer Johns says students enrolled in their EMS training program have to leave their full-time jobs to commit to this particular educational program. Johns says to provide them with some financial support, they try to help offset the cost of the actual tuition. The money is used for the cost to attend their EMS training program. The annual event kicks off at 7:30 a.m. at the Beloit Club in May.
