Three finalists chosen for Janesville superintendent

The Janesville Board of Education names three finalists in the search for a new superintendent.  According to a news release, there were 19 applicants for the position and the district’s search firm selected seven that were interviewed by the board in closed meetings.  The finalists chosen during a special school board meeting Thursday are Manitowoc Public School district Superintendent Mark Holzman, Stone Bank School District Superintendent Ryan Krohn, and Watertown Unified School District Superintendent Cassandra Schug.  All three will tour district facilities, meet with staff and community leaders, and participate in final interviews with the board March 28th through the 31st.  The board expects to make a final decision by April 6th.
