Beloit Police are investigating a shooting and crash early Saturday morning. The department reports they received a report about a crashed vehicle on fire while they were responding to a shots-fired report on the 2600 block of Colley Road. When officers head to the site of the crash in the area of Cranston Road and Austin Place, they find two people in the vehicle. One of the occupants of the vehicle has a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Both were hospitalized for injuries they received.
