A developer is looking to build a new Tru by Hilton hotel at 2702 Pontiac Place in Janesville.
Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says a conditional use permit is required as the new hotel would be located on the same property as the Marriott TownPlace Suites and relies upon shared access with the other businesses.
The Janesville Plan Commission approved a conditional use permit for the four story, 90 room hotel in a unanimous vote this week.
