The suspect in a shooting death outside Beloit Memorial High School is in custody. Beloit police say a “tip” led to the out-of-state arrest of 19-year-old Amaree A. Goodall of Madison. Officers say Goodall was wanted in the January 29th fatal shooting of 19-year-old Jion Broomfield of Beloit in the high school parking lot after a basketball game. Police say Goodall was arrested without incident Wednesday and will need to be extradited back to Wisconsin. In a news release, Police Chief Andre Sayles thanks the community for it’s ongoing support and cooperation in the investigation.
