The City of Janesville names a new Economic Development Director to succeed Gale Price, who resigned in February.
Jimsi Kuborn most recently served as Executive Director of the City of Converse Economic Development Corporation in Converse, Texas. In that role, Kuborn managed the corporation’s strategic plans, initiatives, grants, and incentive programs.
Kuborn received her bachelor’s degree in Merchandising from Northern Illinois University. Before her role in Texas, she served as Vice President of Investor Relations at the Rockford Area Economic Development Council in Rockford, and Director of Marketing and PR for the Chicago Opera Theater in Chicago, Illinois.
Kuborn begins her new duties in Janesville on May 2nd.
