A semi driver ends up in the hospital after his rig ran off a bridge on Highway 11 at Read Road south of Janesville. The State Patrol says the crash happened about 1:00 a.m. Friday. Janesville fire officials say the overpass was snow covered and slippery at the time. Firefighters say the driver was seriously injured, but things could have been worse if the trailer hadn’t been empty. The driver still needed to be extricated. The road was closed for about an hour. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
