The 2022 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Principal Leaders award goes out to Wisconsin principals. Janesville Madison Elementary School Principal Stephanie Filter says winning is a privilege, because she feels like she represents all the great Janesville administrators, staff and it’s a nice way to recognize Janesville’s work in the state. Filter says she’s humbled, but it’s also important to talk about the great things they do here and the success they have with students. She says that’s what the Herb Kohl Foundation award is about, to talk about goals people had and achieved for their school. Filter received the award today.
