About 13 percent of the City of Janesville’s 24,300 real estate parcels will change in value for the 2022 assessments.

City Assessor Michelle Laube says notices were mailed to 3,100 property owners last week.

Residents should keep in mind that since the City is providing a maintenance assessment roll, it will not account for changes in market conditions.

Laube says the change notices include information on the assessment and the dates and times of the Assessor’s Open Book sessions and Board of Review hearings.
