A change to Janesville City ordinances could lead more entertainment venues to come to town.
Until recently Janesville businesses who want a Class “B” beer only license had to have 50 percent of their sales come from food.
The Janesville City Council approved an ordinance change on Monday night that removes the food restriction on Class “B” beer only licenses.
The change was inspired by a new Axe-throwing business that recently came before the Alcohol License Advisory Committee.
