Edgerton is having a collection event for local residents’ electronic waste April 23 where items will be recycled. City Administrator Ramona Flanigan says the DNR put the rule in place that many electronics are banned from landfills because of the problems the different materials have in them. Flanigan says there are many reasons as to why keeping all that equipment out of landfills is beneficial, and this is their way of making sure their residents have an easy way to comply. The event starts from 8:00 until 11 a.m. at the Edgerton City Garage.
