Two of the finalists for the position of Public Works Director in the City of Janesville are familiar names.
According to a news release, after conducting an extensive search, the three candidates who will interview are Transit Director Rebecca Smith, City Engineer Mike Payne, and Woodstock, Illinois Public Works Director Christina Betz.
Citizens are invited to meet all three during a reception on Wednesday, April 27th at 4:30 p.m. at Rotary Botanical Gardens.
Former Public Works Director Paul Woodard resigned last month.
