Downtown Janesville Inc. is recommending “Earth Day” minded individuals take up “Plogging” this weekend. Plogging is a mash up Swedish words “to pick up” and “jogging”. The goal is to pick up trash while out for a walk or run. Downtown Janesville Inc. suggests sending a photo of your collections and share using #JanesvillePlogging for a chance to win prizes to downtown businesses. Residents are encouraged to collect one plastic grocery bag of trash as part of the beautification effort.
