A local author chronicles the rich history of Beloit’s first Chinese family.
Beatrice McKenzie’s book The Wongs of Beloit Wisconsin follows the life of Charles Wong who opened the Nan King Lo Restaurant in the early 1900’s.
The book will be the focus of a panel discussion at 11:00 a.m April23rd at the Beloit Public Library.
Charles Wong’s three surviving children will be participating.
