A 31-year-old Beloit man appears in Rock County Court on child sexual assault charges.
Christopher Grider waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Rock County Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer (Monday) afternoon after the witness in the case was not available to testify.
Grider is accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl between January 15th and January 30th.
He is charged with with first degree sexual assault with a person under the age of 13 and repeated sexual assault of a child.
Grider entered a not guilty plea and the case is expected to be scheduled for trial.
