More than 80 new students will be able to go through Community Action Inc.’s Fresh Start program thanks to a new federal YouthBuild grant.
Executive Director Marc Perry says the non-profit was awarded $1.4 million.
Community Action is one of only two Wisconsin agencies to receive a grant as part of the $90.4 million in awards announced this week.
The Fresh Start program provides education, job training, and the ability to complete their high school education.
