News conference planned in Janesville shooting

Janesville police are planning a press conference Wednesday morning to share more information about a fatal shooting.  Police say the incident happened at a metal fabricating plan in the 1300 block of Plainfield Avenue after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.  Officers say in a news release the victim was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.  A suspect was apprehended near Orfordville in less than an hour after the incident.  Police say the two men were employees at Precision Drawn Metals, but haven’t shared a possible motive.  The press conference is planned for 11:00 a.m. at the police station.
