The School District of Beloit Turner works to focus on the whole child, and not just academic achievement.
Pupil Services Director Christine Brown says district families have been invited to a mental health family engagement night on Monday from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Garden Prairie Elementary School.
The event will feature local small business, Present Not Perfect, facilitating age-appropriate therapeutic play and supporting family wellness.
Each child in attendance will get to make their own mini Calm Kit to take home.
