McKearn Park and Fire Station number two in the town of Beloit are getting a fresh crop of trees.
Road Department Forman Mike Birkholz says members of the public are invited to an Arbor Day program Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at McKearn Park.
Birkholz says the program will include remarks from Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources South Central Urban Forestry Manager Brian Wahl.
Birkholz says the town received a $5000 grant to cover the cost of the trees from Alliant Energy and Trees Forever.
