The City of Janesville isn’t the only municipality responding to the recent heat wave by opening up popular water attractions.
Beloit Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says the splash pads at Summit and Vernon Parks are now open.
Lock says City crews are also working on getting the water feature at Turtle Island playground going for the season.
Krueger Pool in Beloit typically opens in June.
The City of Milton is working on getting the Goodrich Square splash pad up and running with no exact date, and the City of Janesville opened the Riverside Park splash pad Wednesday.
