A happy ending for a stray dog found roaming the streets of Beloit.
Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin Adoption Supervisor Karly Harrison says she recently got a call from a man named Barney who recognized his dog Ginger, when Beloit Police posted her photo on their Facebook page.
Barney mentioned that Ginger had been stolen from him five years prior and that he had never stopped looking for her.
Harrison says Barney came down to the humane society and instantly recognized Ginger as the dog who went missing years ago.
Harrison says Ginger appears to have been well-cared for although she is a little over weight.
