The Beloit City Council declares May 15th though the 21st Public Works Week.
Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says citizens can celebrate all the great things these city employees do Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Beloit Farmer’s Market.
Lock says kids can get a superhero passport and have it stamped at each booth in order to receive a prize giveaway.
Lock says City departments that fall under the public works umbrella include engineering, water resources, parks and recreation, and operations.
