
The 35-year-old Janesville man facing felony gun charges after a traffic stop last month is bound over for trial.
Treshawn McDaniels is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of THC and seven counts of bail jumping after he was stopped by a Janesville Police Officer on April 21st on the 500 block of Blackbridge Road.
According to a news release, McDaniels was out on bail on previous cases for domestic violence and armed robbery when he was found in possession of a loaded handgun with an extended magazine and a small amount of marijuana.
Janesville Officer Peter Cronin testified during McDaniels preliminary hearing Monday afternoon in Rock County Court.
McDaniels pleaded not guilty to the charges. A jury trial is expected to be set for a future date.
