The City of Janesville may soon be home to a new dog boarding facility despite concerns from neighboring residents.
The Plan Commission held a public hearing on a conditional use permit for the WOOFHAUS at 4375 Milton Avenue during their meeting this week.
Owner Lindsey Preston says she has a lot of experience running pet boarding facilities and has taken proactive steps to reduce noise.
The Janesville Plan Commission approved the conditional use permit in a five to one vote with Commissioner Paul Williams dissenting.
