Lieutenant Jamie Kessenich is the new Deputy Fire Chief for the Janesville Fire Department. City of Janesville’s Communications Specialist Nick Faust thinks it’ll be great having Kessenich continue in her service. Faust says they know she has an adept understanding of fire service and emergency medical services. He says she’s the first female member of the JFD’s Command Staff and their first female Deputy Fire Chief, which is a tremendous accomplishment worthy of recognition. Kessenich’s new position started yesterday.
