Janesville Police report a shots fired incident early Saturday morning. A release from the department says they receive reports of gunfire near the 200 block of South Jackson Street at around 3 A.M. Officers on the scene locate shell casings in the area of the incident, and a resident of the area tells police their home was struck by gunfire. An unoccupied vehicle was also struck, and no injuries were reported. Police add that a search warrant was executed at, and evidence is located from, an apartment in the area of the incident, which is under investigation
