Beloit City Manager’s last day will be August 5th

Overland Park, Kansas welcomes back a former employee who has been Beloit’s city manager the past seven years.
A release from the city heralds the Monday night announcement that Lori Curtis-Luther would return there to become Overland Park city manager.
Curtis-Luther served as Overland Park’s assistant city manager during the first half of the 2000’s.
Overland Park mayor Curt Skoog says in the release that Curtis-Luther’s experience and skills in such areas as budgeting and financial management, strategic planning and economic development will “…continue to move the city and community forward”.
The release also points out Curtis-Luther’s ability in improving Beloit’s police department, as well as growing and recruiting businesses for the city.
Luther’s last day with the City of Beloit will be August 5th.
