Residents in Fort Atkinson are scheduled to have new phone numbers and a new domain name July 1 which they can use to reach city departments and facilities. City Manager Rebecca Houseman LeMire says they’re hopeful if they continue communicating the change in all the ways they can, people will know the correct number to call when they need to reach them. LeMire says they’ll also work on communicating new phone numbers through their water utility billing, updating their website and press release, which they’ve already released and reminders through social media. The library is the only building whose phone number will remain the same.
