The Beloit Board of Education appears to have been listening to the Fruzen Intermediate School staff, who rallied last week in support of Jennifer Schieve’s application to become principal.
The School Board voted five to two this week to appoint Schieve as principal of Fruzen with board members Aimee Leavy and Sean Leavy dissenting.
Schieve fills a vacancy left by former Fruzen principal Sara Norton who resigned in February.
