Search warrants end in arrests

Two Beloit men are facing multiple charges after a number of local law enforcement agencies simultaneously executed separate search warrants.  The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports authorities searched 1924 South Royce Avenue and 1941 Fayette Avenue in Beloit just after 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.  As a result, 62-year-old Neal L. Prater was arrested on charges including Maintaining a Premises/Vehicle for Drug Trafficking, Keeping a Place of Prostitution, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.  Also, 42-year-old Joshua J. Vega-Kelley was arrested on charges including Maintaining a Premises for Drug Trafficking, Possession of Fentanyl, and Neglecting a Child.  A news release specifies the search warrants were secured by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Special investigations Unit.  Both suspects are in the county jail awaiting their initial court date.
