The YMCA of Northern Rock County is raising money for the Bert Blain Memorial Heart Walk with the second annual Pedal for a Purpose marathon cycling event Saturday at the Janesville Farmer’s Market.
Health, Wellness, and Mission Advancement Director Niqi Linneman says members of the public can participate in the fundraiser by either riding or sponsoring a bike or purchasing tickets to win a number of raffle prizes.
Linneman says Drum Rave will be DJing the entire event and there will be five cycling instructors as well as regular and adaptive cycles.
