The SSM Health Janesville team celebrates a major Orthopedics milestone of a thousand patients walking without severe pain from hip or knee arthritis. Saint Mary’s Janesville Hospital Orthopedics Medical Director Brian Keyes says they were able to obtain robotic technology in the ladder portion of 2018 at the Janesville Campus. Keyes says they crossed their one thousandth case and utilize the technology for hip and knee replacement procedures. He says that was a large milestone for himself, the other surgeon at the campus and the whole team. According to a news release, the one thousandth procedure using Mako Robotic – Arm Assisted surgery system was completed at SSM Health Saint Mary’s Hospital in Janesville.
