The Bellrichard Bridge in Janesville will close for maintenance work for a little over a week starting this Thursday.
Assistant City Engineer Lisa Wolf says the project involves repair of the concrete parapet wall, filling cracks on the bridge deck, and placement of a thin polymer overlay across the entire surface of the bridge deck.
Wolf says South Crosby Avenue and South Willard Avenue will close between Rockport Road and West State Street July 7th through the 15th.
The City will post a detour for through traffic utilizing Rockport Road, Center Avenue, and West State Street.
