Two Illinois men are under arrest following a large fight at the Eclipse Center in Beloit over the weekend.
Beloit Police say a large non-sanctioned disturbance broke out after a mixed martial martial arts event concluded.
The sheer number of individuals involved in the fight required a significant law enforcement response from multiple jurisdictions, including the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Winnebago County Illinois Sheriff’s Office, Town of Beloit Police Department, and South Beloit Police Department.
28-year-old Jesus M. Calderon of Glen Ellyn, Illinois was arrested on suspicion of substantial battery and disorderly conduct.
57-year-old Martin R. Barrera of Rockford was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct.
