Children’s Museum of Rock County eyes First National Bank building

The official permanent location for the Rock County Children’s Museum could be revealed by the end of the summer.
Board President Claire Gray says the non-profit is currently operating out of a space at Uptown Janesville.
Gray says hopes to know soon if they’ll be able to be part of a mixed use development at the former First National Bank building in downtown Janesville.
Gray says if that doesn’t work out there have been talks about locating on a City of Janesville-owned property downtown. The final resort would be privately owned property in the downtown area.
Gray says the biggest way the community can support the children’s museum is by following them on social media, liking and sharing their posts, and coming out for their events.
