The beach at Delavan Township Community Park is re-opened.
Walworth County Public Health confirms action Monday.
The beach was closed as a precaution late last month after the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources confirmed the presence of blue-green algae in areas of Delavan Lake near the beach.
Though the county health agency declares the beach safe again for public use, those who use the water for recreation are asked to avoid direct contact with water that looks like pea soup or smells foul.
Those conditions indicate the presence of blue-green algae.
