Janesville residents speak out against a proposed neighborhood development at the northeast corner of Highways 51 and 11.
A variety of people spoke at this weeks city council meeting. Concerns ranged from what the size and look of the buildings will be, to water drainage, and to the safety of the neighborhood.
City Council President Paul Benson made it known at Monday’s meeting that he heard those concerns, and let citizens know they would have more opportunities to voice their concerns and learn more about the potential housing at future meetings.
The Janesville City Council approved the ordinance amending the City of Janesville Comprehensive plan at Monday’s meeting.
