The August 9th Partisan Primary is just a couple of weeks away, and absentee voting remains an issue.
Janesville City Clerk Lori Stottler says that those who are going to absentee vote by mail have a lot to go through including making sure you’re signing it and that your witness is signing it with a complete address. Stottler says ballots need to be mailed back no later than August 2nd to make sure it gets back in time.
Stottler says people can start in person absentee voting Tuesday at city hall in Janesville, Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:30 until August 5th. Stottler reminds those voting to bring their photo ID.
