The family of two women who were shot to death in Janesville in February of 2020 will have to wait a little longer for justice.
The jury trial of the former University of Wisconsin football player accused of killing Seairaha Winchester and Brittany McAdory in a dispute over drug money, which was supposed to start Monday, has been delayed by more than five months.
Judge Barbara McCrory was sensitive to the family of the two victims Tuesday in granting the request from 36-year-old Marcus Randle-El’s attorneys after one of them tested positive for COVID-19.
Randle-El is charged with two counts of first degree intentional homicide, operating a vehicle without owners consent, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
