A 59-year-old Elkhorn man is dead after a traffic crash in Dane County. The state patrol says a semi traveling northbound on I39 near DeForest a little before 10:00 a.m. Sunday rear-ended a passenger car. The semi then crashed through the cement median and rolled-over, blocking the southbound lanes. The driver of the car was killed. Several other vehicles were damaged by debris. The semi driver was not seriously injured. The name of the victim will be released after authorities inform his family.
