Beloit Police are asking the communities help in identifying suspects in recent assaults at a local movie theatre.
Sergeant Ryan Flanagan says the suspects appear to have been recording the assaults and that it wouldn’t surprise the department if the assaults were recorded for social media, and that someone else has likely seen the videos.
Flanagan says these assaults were random acts of violence and neither victim had any interaction with the suspects or any idea who they were.
Flanagan reiterated that the movie theatre was still a safe place to go and that the public should remain vigilant of suspicious activity.
Anyone with information on the suspects can submit a tip through the P-3 tip line or by calling the Beloit P-D’s non emergency tip line.
