Accused donut thief who led police on chase found not competent

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man who led the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on a high-speed chase after stealing six dollars worth of donuts is found not competent to stand trial.
Jayvon A. McFarling is charged in Rock County Court with first degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing an officer, two counts of bail jumping, and retail theft in connection with the incident that originated at the Lions Quick Mart on Highway 14 on January14th.
In May Judge Karl Hanson ordered a competency evaluation and at a hearing Wednesday he found McFarling not competent.
McFarling was ordered to be committed for treatment to regain competency before his case proceeds.
