Citizens are invited to recognize Stormwater Awareness Week by helping clean up the Rock River.
Spokesperson Andy Dahl says the Rock River Stormwater Group and Protect Wisconsin Waterways are holding a number of events on Saturday, September 17th.
Events will begin at 8:00 a.m. at Rotary River Center at Riverside Park in Beloit and Schilberg Park in Milton; and at 10:00 a.m. at Monterey Park in Janesville and Preservation Park in town of Beloit.
Dahl says participants can register on the Protect Wisconsin Waterways website to receive a free t-shirt.
