A group of Beloit Memorial students will be attending a manufacturing tech trade show in Chicago next week.

Academy Coach Deb Prowse says it’s a great opportunity for students to learn about how technology and manufacturing blend together, and this will allow students to see how they can mix their love for technology with potential high paying careers.

Prowse says the students will be able to visit 2,000 different booths that display opportunities for the students and ways to use their skills to find something they’re passionate about in an expanding field.

The International Manufacturing Technology Show is the longest running industry trade show in the western hemisphere and the students will be visiting the Smart Force Student Summit on September 14th.
