The Beloit City Council was given the latest information on the search for the city’s new manager at a Monday night city council meeting.
Interim City Manager Elizabeth Kreuger provided an update on the search, saying the city held meetings last week to gather input from the public and now the recruiter will put together a brochure and once it’s approved they will get the job post put up.
Krueger said the job position will be open for about a month and then the city council will meet to determine who they want to bring in for the first round of interviews.
Krueger said they’ll continue to keep the public informed and that a survey will also be going out so the public can continue to offer feedback on what they want to see from their next city manager.
